Didn't help that I'm reading Sade's Juliette right now and he directly said poo tastes like olives. Compared to Sade's writing this is a pretty chill time.

As harsh as Salò is, it has absolutely nothing on the original text "120 Days of Sodom". The book makes the film look like a pleasant weekend outing. Incidentally, I saw The Road yesterday and it was so optimistic compared to the book. One could still notice that a few couples had picked the wrong movie for Valentine's day though.
